Where to Find Kitsch Fashion

While it is true that kitsch fashion is becoming a major fashion movement in the world nowadays, it doesn't mean that you can only wear kitsch apparel, clothing, and accessories that you can find in boutiques. Creating your own kitsch wardrobe could be as easy as going to the attic and sorting through stuff that the 'rents and their own folks used to have when they were younger. The idea of wearing stuff that belonged to your older relatives isn't as embarrassing as it sounds. Provided that those accessories or articles of clothing are intact and can be dry-cleaned, they can actually work.

Another great place to get your kitschy items would be in garage sales - sometimes, you can just find gems of kitschy fashion accessories and clothing there that may be hand-made or came out so long ago that there are practically no other items like it in the world. Rummage bins in thrift stores, are of course, also prime sources of kitschy items. Clothes found in places and stores like this are either a.) so worn that they don't look they way they did originally, b.) have enough flaws to be different from the others of its kind or c.) are so old that other clothes like it no longer exist.

Remember, these clothes need to be washed or dry-cleaned first before you wear them. If you don't want to, you can buy kitsch fashion from boutiques - but that will seriously cost you.
